Mathematics Department

Mathematics courses at Ajial Bilingual School are designed following the Common Core State Standards (USA). Math curricula in the middle school classes are focusing on students' development of arithmetic and mathematical fluency, problem-solving skills, mathematical reasoning, and ability to communicate mathematically. These courses are based on the following five strands: Number and Number Sense; Computation and Estimation; Measurement and Geometry; Patterns, Functions and Algebra; and Probability and Statistics. By studying each of these strands as delineated in the middle school curriculum, students will best be prepared for high school level course-work in mathematics.

In high school, we have college preparatory courses of Mathematics. The high school Math courses are: Algebra-1; Geometry; Algebra-2; and Pre-Calculus.
